I recently had the chance to finally try Skoah’s Chiiki Munki make-up line (although I have to say that the name isn’t really working for me… Everytime I go to think about it, I think chunky monkey) and I am obsessed with their chiik tint in afterglow.

I had it applied at Skoah, and walked home in the cold not really thinking much of it- until I got in the elevators of my building and marvelled at how rosy my cheeks looked, and how great it made my otherwise winter dreary complexion look. I was silently thanking Mother Nature for the blistering cold and my newly found rosy complexion when I started wondering why someone didn’t come up with some kind of product that would replicate that “just stepped in from the cold” look into a cheek tint. I then began to wonder why no one else had thought of this and giggled at how rich I was going to be when I figured it out. Grouchy man who lives in my building looked at me like I was drunk. Since it was a Saturday night near Christmas, I decided it was possible and didn’t make an attempt to redeem myself.

I got home and started to dethaw and completely forgot about my fabulously rosy cheeks and millions of potential beauty product design dollars until I walked by the bathroom and caught a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror. I still had rosy cheeks! I must have developed some kind of skin blessing where I just developed rosy cheeks from being in the cold and they’d last forever! Wow! Yeah, that’s right about when I realized it was one of those rare rare beauty moments when a product someone tries to hawk you at a store actually is awesome and I regretted not buying a tube. I’ll be showing up at Skoah tomorrow though to purchase myself the ”chic stylish ski bunny having just had a great orgasm” cheek tint. Skoah, FYI, if you had named your cheek tint that instead of the tamer “afterglow”, I’d have most likely bought on the spot.

Anyways, long story to tell you to check it out- Chiiki Munki Chiik Tint in AfterGlow. if there’s no Skoah near you they do offer shipping off their website (Shipping in Canada is free if you spend over $80, and they do ship to the US, with no taxes or duty)
