Outlet Mall Purchases: Michael Kors Watches

I made the journey out yesterday to the San Marcos Tanger Outlets and spent pretty much the whole day wandering around the miles and miles of stores. Apparently there is mor than one outlet mall in the mix of the miles upon miles of outlets, but I couldn’t tell where one complex began and another one ended. Besides there not being any deals that were really and truly great for the majority of things, I did manage to pick up two watches, which were on my list of things I needed to acquire.

I got the Michael Kors Updated Runway watch and the Michael Kors Chronograph Resin watch in Blue. I bought both of them for less than the price of one of them, so all in all it was a fantastic deal… I’m really loving the turquoise color! They’re both the big chunky menswear inspired size, which I’ve found to be very flattering on my tiny wrists (It’s the only part of me right now that I can call tiny, so get used to mentions of my tiny wrists) and also is a more classic and timeless. The turquise watch is a classic style, but with some trendy color- although I think it will be a constant staple in my Spring/Summer wardrobes for years to come. The stainless steel one will last me for years to come and can be used year round.

Apparently it’s a slightly dangerous mall, since there was a carjacking incident there in mid-May- but I had absolutely no trouble.

The Outlet Mall here is fantastic. I have to say that it was one of the best outlet malls I’ve been to, and I think the deals might have been perceived by me as being “better” if I had had some extra cash to burn or extra space in my carry-on suitcase, which I didn’t/don’t. Victoria’s Secret Outlet, Neiman Marcus Last Call (which was AMAZING, all my favorite brands and not junk like you often see in outlets), Sak’s Off 5th (which SUCKED, no great brands, nothing fantastic and it had the same signage as a Winners/TJ Maxx), J.Crew, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Michael Kors, La Perla, Escada, Catherine Malandrino… And the list goes on and on. I just hope some of them make the move to my “local” outlet mall in Seattle soon!

Hi Travelers
I always seem to have a hard time getting to where I am goingFew examples of recent problems – planning a way of Getting To Manhattan or for a Bus or Flying to Lake Placid . Mapquest does not have any bus information – so, I am looking at options for Van Gelder Bus Lines .

Does this make sense?

Thanks a ton!.
