Choose To Be Salon Beautiful!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s true. I went to the local supermarket and bought a bottle of the cheapest condtioner I could get my little hands on- I’m going through conditioner like a house on fire and I can’t seem to keep up. Shampoo lasts so much longer than conditioner for me, so I’m constantly struggling with having almost full bottles of shampoo and very small amounts of conditioner left. Instead of going out and purchasing more of the matching, more expensive conditioner, I decided that this was ridiculous and I should use the same amount of both- when I start the new bottle.

So, to tide me over until the next bottle of shampoo starts, I bought Salon Selectives. Remember those awesome commercials where they sang “Choose to Be Salon Beautiful?” I loved those commercials, so I didn’t have all that much difficulty at the timeof purchase and was happily singing the tune all the way home- until the next morning when I realized that my poor little hair would be subjected to Salon beauty at 99 cents a bottle. (Maybe this is why no one has heard of them in the last decade- they are still selling hair products, but at 99 cents?!)

Incredibly, my hair has NEVER felt as soft as it has today. EVER. I didn’t do anything else out of the ordinary and found myself with hair that I seriously was wondering who it belonged to. No frizz, soft and bouncy curls. Hello!

I’m not saying you should throw out your Fekkai for this, but I’m saying give it a shot. It might be the best 99 cents you’ve ever spent. I know it ranks up there with mine.

I am also in love with the Pantene Pro-V Ice shine right now…..way cheaper (though not 99cents) then the expensive brand I was using but way better…

Herbal Essence is tempting but leaves huge build up.

I used to love SS! It used to smell like apples, but then they relaunched it and changed the formula. I was very sad!
