The impossible has happened and I was not only late in knowing it, but I am thousands of miles too far to take advantage of it. Diptyque is having a sample sale in New York City! 40-90% off retail price. This makes a candle from Diptyque… Well, actually the price of a candle.
I first smelled Diptyque’s Figuier a few years ago and have been obsessed with it ever since. I even toyed around with the potential perfume, but it really is a home smell that I just about dream about. The smell is one of my absolute favorite things in the world- but despite my love for it, I also wouldn’t get any love for spending $100 on a candle. I just can’t bring my little Visa card to be able to “do the credit card gymnastics it do” to spend the money.
If you’re not a fan of Figuier, there are hundreds of other smells which are produced by Diptyque that are remarkable. One that I’ve heard lots about is the Toracco, which is a new one. It’s suposed to be summery and not too fruity or floral smelling.
This is terrible timing, since I was doing SO well with not doing any online shopping at all and now all I want to do is find Diptyque candles at steals and light them in my house to make it smell good.
Anyways, if you are a freakishly lucky person who either lives, works or is visiting NYC, head down to the Diptyque sale!
