Today as I was reading all the news about the Chris Brown cop out of a sentence on TMZ, I found myself amazed and very much intrigued by the sketch of Rihanna drawn by the court’s sketch artist. Doesn’t the coloring and picture look like a spread from a high fashion magazine? I’ve never seen anyone look so glamorous in a court sketch artist’s interpretation. Mona Edwards, whom I assume to be the sketch artist, is amazing and definitely missed her calling if this is what she now does! I did a quick Google search, and it turns out she’s the sketch artist in LA who has also done other work including a fashion illustration book… And the Paris Hilton trial!
But anyways, the trial is what I should have been thinking about- and I have to say that I’m actually surprised that Chris Brown copped a plea deal- because he’s now registered as a convicted felon… Although that’s kinda like rapper street cred I suppose. There must have been evidence which we didn’t see or witness as to why he copped a deal when Rihanna wasn’t even pressing charges.

Hi…
I was alerted to your website, and just wanted to thank you for the nice compliments!
I’ve always felt that fashion and crime go together, and being in LA,and covering celebrity crime it pretty much does… all the time!
Best,
Mona
