I’m on vacation this week, visiting my in-laws who had other family visiting from France. Since the visiting relatives hadn’t ever experienced a North American Christmas (reindeers, stockings, turkey, stuffing, etc.) we decided to throw one as a surprise for them… And surprised were they ever. Even Gucci the Roccapoochie got involved- wearing his most hated Christmas reindeer antlers and his light-up Christmas sweater. He was extremely not impressed at getting so dolled up in 36 degree weather, let me tell you.
Great fun, and definitely something that they will never forget. I, on the other hand, am super grateful that I got to have my FIL’s delicous turkey stuffing early, and will now get it TWICE this year! (Oh, and please excuse the picture of me, above… I don’t tan and was trying to make it look like I had, at least a little…)
