Hi Miss A,

I am going out for a date in a couple of weeks and I want a new outfit to really impress the guy. Unfortunately, my credit card limit doesn’t allow for it I can only spend $100 on everything. Can you find me an entire outifit for that? I can do the shoes and the the underwear with stuff I already have. Oh, we’re going to a baseball game.

I’m assuming you mean that you have budget for $100 and want a new outfit and not that you’re $100 away from your credit card limit. If you’re $100 away from the limit, honey, you need tofind some pieces you already own and re-work them. In any case, off I went Browser Browsing (Yes, I’m going to have the word in your head so you use it and I become a famous word inventor) and this is what I came up with.

  • Hudson Natural Indigo Stretch Flare Leg Jeans on Bluefly: Baseball = American. Jeans = American. You need to wear jeans- and this is a great time to be looking for a pair. I found the perfect pair, available for only $63.74 on Bluefly and currently has lots of sizes available.                                     eqzoom85
  • Design History Teal Pintucked Jersey Cap Sleeve Top: A great color and a great cut t-shirt. I particularily love the fact that when you’re going to a baseball game, you want to look casual so you think t-shirt but also dressed to impress which incorporates the great cut and subtle embellishment of this t-shirt.  It also comes in a great grape royal color and red if teal isn’t your thing. At $24.74, it’s within budget.                                 eqzoom85
  • With your remaining $11.52, I’d recommend buying a baseball cap for the team you’re going to see at the game. For extra bonus points, google the name of the team before you go to the game, figure out their team colors and get your t-shirt in either that color or a co-ordinating color… When you get your baseball hat that will match or go with your t-shirt, you’ll be too cute.

Let me know how it goes!

xoxo,

Miss A

I absolutely adore the last bit of advice – buying a top that matches the teams colors. Such a cute idea! :)
