I know that I saw on your Twitter stream awhile ago that you had been to a UFC party. What would a girl wear to one? I’ve got no clue what to wear and it’s tomorrow night. Can you help?
Well, I will admit that I’ve been to one or two UFC parties in my life. And your question is a popular one amongst people I know… I had actually been asked this exact question by a friend via Blackberry Messenger (aka My Lifeline) a few weeks ago, so I luckily had a picture stored in my BB memory that I can share with you. If you’ve never been to a UFC event, A UFC party is a pretty casual gathering of men where they all drink beer and sling insults and testosterone around while watching men pummel each other until unconsiousness (or end of the match, but that would be a boring fight apparently). You can impress your male attendees by reading about UFC 103 (the event you’ll be attending the party for) here.
As a warning, this is not a Park Avenue Princess event- in fact you don’t need to show up to one of these events with make-up even on. I attend these “gatherings” as a great excuse to socialize with Mr. Roccapuccia’s friends’ wives and to eat yummy hors d’oeuvres that they prepare for us to eat while the men gather around the TV. I will advise you that I was by far the most dressed up at the party I attended.
