I haven’t written about the Roccapoochie in awhile, and I’ve actually had some questions arrive from people asking about him. Speaking on his behalf, he’s thrilled and delighted to be of interest to anyone other than his immediate human family… and if you could send him some treats, that would be great.
Does Roccapoochie have a real name? Or is that his name? How old is he?
He definitely has a real name, and Roccapoochie isn’t it. His name is Gucci, he will also respond to anything sounding like Gucci (Roochie, Chee Chee, Poochie) He is 2 and a half years old (and for those who asked, he’s a Yorkie Bichon)
Does he have a large variety of clothing?
I’m not sure that I’d describe his closet as “overflowing”, but I suppose for a dog who doesn’t by social norms require clothing he has quite a bit. Some samples are his U of A hoodie, Paris Hilton for Dogs Polo shirt, New England Patriots football jersey, Superman coat, rain coat, paisley polo short, Christmas sweater, Christmas jacket and Prince sweater. Hmmm… I guess now that I write it, he does have alot of clothes. He’s not a huge fan of baggy clothes, he tries to wiggle out of them- tighter sweaters are more his thing.
What does he eat?
He’s supposed to only eat Nutro Nuggets dried dog food; but he also loves dried chicken, Pup-a-roni, Puppy Bacon and has been known to eat packs of gum, rocks, grass and cat foo when visiting his Aunt’s cat.
Does he like or dislike anything?
Well… He likes playing with his rope bone, playing with the cat next door Blackie, sleeping in his bed and snuggling with his humans and barking at “intruders” coming to our house. He dislikes water, anything to do with being in water. He hates baths, swimming and bodies of water- the only thing he likes about water is when it’s coming out of his fountain for him to drink or in his bowl next to his dinner.
