It’s a glorious day for curly hair girls everywhere… Scientists have discovered WHY you have curly hair and are developing gene therapies to straighten it… Thankfully someone realized this was a serious problem (?) and scientists got to work on solving this mystery, not just wasting their time with silly things that don’t work like chemical compounds that supposedly remove frizz.

I’m shocked why the scientists haven’t decided to cash in on the discovery and cosmetic companies aren’t hiring spies to go steal their secrets. Or maybe they are. They’re saying that it’s most immediate use will be for figuring out from DNA hair samples if a suspect has curly or straight hair. Um, they are missing the bigger picture here.
