I was recently updated that there is a new J.Crew store opening in Vancouver down on Robson Street and in comparison to the Nordstrom stories, this time it’s been seen by people on the street and opening in April 2012. Confirmed that it’s going where the old Tommy Hilfiger was, next to Banana Republic. There are even job postings up!
While I’m not super excited about what I’ve been warned are going to be higher prices (Apparently 20-30% higher than in the US), I’ll definitely still be visiting J.Crew- especially since Jenna managed to snag famed shoe designer Manolo Blahnik to create a fall shoe collection! I’d bet that the shoes will still be pricy (J.Crew’s not exactly Target) but also likely tie into the J.Crew prep style, so will be something of a good combo between the crazy Manolo styles and the typical J.Crew flats and ballet shoes of normal.
